Bushby Mustang II – 1967 Engineering Plan (Bulkhead Page with Builder’s Notes)

$595.00

Framed in hand-rubbed oak with black walnut accents, this one-of-a-kind piece preserves an original 1967 engineering plan for the Bushby Mustang II. Set against an aluminum mat, the drawing becomes both artifact and artwork — a celebration of aviation history, craftsmanship, and design.

The plans were found in a long-since-abandoned barn along with the incomplete Bushby shell (pictured). The story goes the owner was once a Commercial pilot for PanAm who dreamed of building his own Mustang. Though the aircraft itself was never completed, the surviving plans carry his vision forward — a tangible reminder of an era when flying was more than transportation, it was adventure. Today, this piece stands not only as art but as a fragment of aviation’s golden age, honoring both the dreamer and the machine.
