Make it stand out
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business.
Build it
Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world.
An original 1968 engineering drawing from a Bushby Mustang II — a plane partially built by hand in a barn, and never finished. Found a mile from the Matriarch workshop. The plans that came with it are now framed by hand in white oak with walnut splines.
This is not a reproduction. This is the actual plan sheet — the first lines of an aircraft that never left the ground, now preserved on your wall, with the notes of the builder-pilot that never flew it.
The Origin Series preserves the first lines of flight — the drawings where aircraft begin. Each piece features an original Bushby Mustang II plan sheet, hand-framed in oak with a walnut spline, finished in the Matriarch workshop in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley.
These plans also mark the origin of Matriarch Furniture Co. — the moment a found airplane led to a frame, and a frame led to a craft.
Medium: Original 1968 engineering drawing, white oak frame, walnut spline
Dimensions: 24" x 24"
Edition: One of a kind
